Mission Statement

The purpose of The Youth Life project is to provide support and guidance to young people, empowering them to reach their full potential by building a better and brighter future, not only for themselves but for the next generation of youth, creating future community leaders and role models. We call this a 'spiral of inspiration'.
We equip young people with the skills required to make positive life choices and support them in their growth and development.
The Youth Life Project is centered around the voice of the youth, therefore being the charity they want and need us to be.

Original Press Release
Swindon, November 2011 - The Youth Life Project charity has been launched in response to the media scrutiny of the youth following the August riots of 2011 to communicate the thoughts, feelings and concerns of the unheard youth.

The Youth Life Project aims to restore the faith lost in young people and equip them with the skills required to make positive life choices. Providing a service for young people in the region aged 10-19 to utilise, The Youth Life Project is born from the passion of its founder Danielle Brown for the care and well-being of young people.

The Youth Life Project Founder Danielle, 27, has extensive experience in the charity arena working on a voluntary basis with children of all ages in youth centres and youth groups. As a keen organiser of fundraising events, creating a charity close to her heart was always going to be Danielle’s next step.

“Building a better and brighter future for the next generation of young people was the driving force behind taking my passion of charity work to the next level”, said Danielle. “Young carers, parents and the vulnerable are all in need of a voice that will speak up for them and this is what we strive to do at The Youth Life Project. We need to hear more about the positive things the young people are doing“

“We are committed to providing help and support for young people, to help them reach their full potential. These young adults are in great need of inspirational role-models and at The Youth Life Project we intend to support their development to become upstanding citizens and role models. “I remain a huge believer in community spirit and embracing that spirit with the youth. It is important that we ensure youth feel a sense of belonging and consider themselves key stakeholders in their communities in order for them to be the best that they can be.”

Danielle Brown is seeking further funding to support The Youth Life Project, if you are interested in supporting the project please email youthlifeproject@gmail.com
