SN1 FEST SUMMER BALL!! -The Review

The SN1 Fest Summer Ball was electric!
Ravers turned up in their hundreds to celebrate yet another successful SN1 Fest, showcasing some of the best UK DJs and local talent such as Eats Everything who performed his debut single Entrance Song and  Danny Byrd & Pinch and also a line-up of local acts such as Bully- Big Weekend Records, Grim Sickers who is known for tracks such as Winter Snow, and Daine, who performed with his brother myles and Benji Clements and also performed with Theo Altieri on the promising track titled 'Txt Me Back' which you can listen to here.

Later on in the evening AJ tore up the stage, getting the crowd wild as well as hosting for Eats Everything. His stage presence was on point and you can catch more of that at The Reggae Garden on the 8th September at Swindon's Old Town Gardens, Bowl,. You can get your tickets for that here. Until then have a listen and watch the vid to the Title track from the album 'Tangle Your Cassette'.

At the end of the end of the night everyone was on a high from an amazing day and most set off to Suju for the official after party.

It was a great day/evening for all to remember and here are a few pics to prove it! ...

TYLP's anti-bullying track

Two local MC's have kindly recorded an anti-bullying track for The Youth Life Project to help highlight the seriousness and the implications of bullying. Grim Sickers and Zeeks paired up to create an urban sound specifically aimed at young adults.
Not only have they donated their time to record this for TYLP, but they have also offered to create a video to accompany the track and came up with the great idea of getting the young people involved in making it.
whether this be your music genre or not, I feel the track is great and the lyrics not only bring home the serious nature of bullying, but also highlight the different types off bullying too.
