Nationwide are Recruiting...

Nationwide are recruiting for permanent Customer Service Consultants at their Call Centre at Windmill Hill Industrial Estate. The closing date is 21/6/13 for a start date of 5/8/13. See link below:

They also have temp Customer Service Consultants positions which are being recruited through Field Staff.

Please find details below:

·         They don't advertise P/T hours but will look at each case on an individual basis as long as they can commit to the full time training. Will need to apply as normal but to bring it to their attention at the interview.
·         The training will be for 12 weeks from Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm. It is modular and after each session they will consolidate the training on real customer calls.
·         There is no selling involved which means that the bonus system has changed. It is now a small bonus incentive around customer service . You will be scored each quarter taking into account results from monthly 121's with their adviser.
·         You need to be computer literate and have strong customer service skills.
·         You will be taking 60 to 80 calls a day so it is a very busy environment.
·         You are expected to stay in the role for 18 months to 2 years before considering applying to transfer to other parts of the business.

The application process is as follows:

·         Apply on line through the link above and submit their CV.
·         You will be sent an on line assessment which consists of a psychometric test and a practical exercise which lasts 30 to 40 mins. It is a simulated call from a customer and they will need to ask relevant questions in order to deal with the customer query.
·         If successful you will have a telephone interview.
·         If successful you then have to give a talk for up to 5 mins about a Nationwide product of the candidates choice, have a competency based interview ( following processes, emotional resilience and problem solving) and a product matching exercise (you will have 20 mins to match 3 customers to 7 fictitious products).

If they are not successful you cannot reapply for 12 months.

You then need to pass the credit checks, which are not straight forward. Basically if you have CCJ's or bankruptcy don't apply anything else will be looked at individually. A couple of late payments or if you have been refused credit etc., won't necessarily go against them.
